BIOGRAPHY
Glenn W. Boisbrun has a broad range of intellectual property experience that includes handling patent and trademark preparation, patent and trademark prosecution, and litigation matters. He also has been involved in patent licensing matters and has provided opinion letters relating to defenses against patent infringement. Glenn represents clients in electrical, telecommunications, computer, and software-related areas. His clients run the gamut from small entrepreneurial start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.
In addition to his varied technical and legal background, Glenn also holds an M.B.A. He has experience running his own company and participating in the development of several smaller technology companies as both an advisor and Board of Directors member. Glenn’s background and experience allows him to bring his clients, large and small, a real world understanding of the many factors that go into a successful business and the intellectual property strategies that contribute to a company’s bottom line. He has extensive experience developing and evaluating intellectual property portfolios.
Glenn has played a significant role in the funding process for several growing companies, having assisted them in obtaining critical rounds of funding. Glenn’s extensive technical and legal background, together with his substantial business experience, truly sets him apart as an invaluable resource for his clients.
EDUCATION
Glenn graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 1986, received his J.D. from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center, in 1994, and received his Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1998.
MEMBERSHIPS
Glenn is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the Eastern Districts of Texas. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is a member of the Dallas Bar Association (Intellectual Property Section).
