BIOGRAPHY
Yuke Wang, PH.D., has many years of experience in academic and industry, and is internationally recognized for contributions in various areas of VLSI design, telecommunication, signal processing, and computer science. At the firm, Yuke focuses on patent prosecution over a range of advanced technologies in electrical engineering and computer science.
Yuke is a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Texas at Dallas. He has taught in various universities in U.S., Canada, Japan, and South Korea. He has taught more than 30 different undergraduate and graduate level courses in computer science and electrical engineering. He has over 15 years of research experiences in telecommunication, VLSI circuit and system design, signal processing, computer network, security, software, e-commerce, and web technology. He has published over 100 research papers in journals and conferences including about 20 IEEE and ACM Transaction journal papers. Five Ph.D. students have graduated under his supervision. He has served as an Associate Editor for total six different journals including IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, IEEE Transactions on VLSI, and IEICE Transactions on Communications. Currently he is serving at the Membership Committee for IEEE Signal Processing Society. He is an inventor of two issued patents.
Professionally trained in business and technology, Yuke can understand the business side as well as the innovation side of technology.
Yuke is fluent in Chinese as well as English.
EDUCATION
Yuke graduated with a Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, in 1996 and received his J.D./MBA, cum laude, from Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law in 2011. Yuke was an Editor of the SMU Science and Technology Law Review, a member of the American Inns of Court, and a member of the Legal Honors Fraternity Phi Delta Phi.
