BIOGRAPHY
Jerry Xu is a registered patent agent with more than 15 years of engineering experience in semiconductor and optical fiber communications technologies. At the firm, Jerry focuses on patent preparation and prosecution, particularly in highly complex technologies.
Jerry's broad engineering background includes experience as a CMOS/BiCMOS device engineer and a VLSI design engineer for STMicroelectronics. Previously, Jerry was a member of the technical staff for Beijing Glass Research Institute, a key research institute in China specializing in optoelectronic technologies. There, Jerry was involved in R&D activities in fiber optics and optical fiber communication systems.
As a patent agent, Jerry applies practical engineering experience and judgment to the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. Jerry's expertise spans a spectrum, including semiconductor devices, processes, and integrated circuits, electronic systems, processor architecture, fiber optics, communication system, nanotechnology, and software.
EDUCATION
Jerry graduated with a Bachelor's degree in physics from Sichuan University, China, in 1986, and received a Master's degree in electrical engineering from Texas Tech University in 1998.
